Setup, Conform, Overview, and Planning

Dive into detailed DaVinci Resolve project settings, from video monitoring and color management to other essential preferences required for feature film projects. We’ll analyze the content and establish a roadmap.

Color Management Pipeline and Look Design

Each project is unique. For this challenge, we’ll set up a bespoke color management pipeline and craft a show LUT based on client specifications.

First Pass - The Balancing Act

This pivotal phase sees the birth of nearly 80% of the movie’s aesthetic.

The Secondaries

During this phase, we finesse our film, refining its overall appearance.

Trim Pass

Also referred to as the “10,000-foot view”, this stage emphasizes the holistic movie experience, evaluating it shot-by-shot, scene-by-scene.

Client Review

At this juncture, directors and cinematographers may have specific revisions. Learn how to integrate this feedback promptly and effectively.

Final Delivery

Our focus narrows to the creation of technically precise masters suited for TV and cinema.

What is cohort training program

This is a type. of training program where you work in a group to pre-defined schedule. We have found this to be the most effective way of learning.

I am not able to attend live stream classrooms, can watch it later?

If you are not able to attend live sessions, you are going to be able to watch recording later. A few hours after the live session has finished, we will upload recording that you can watch anytime it suits you.

How long will I have access to class materials?

This class is going to be available for the lifetime it will not expire. You will be able to login into your account, click on seminar title and rewatch it any time you like.

Do I need to be a member to attend?

You don't need any specific membership. The moment you enrol into this seminar you will automatically become a member of our professional colorist community.

Will I be able to ask questions if something is not clear?
