Dolby Vision Mastering

Dolby Vision has become the most popular mastering standard for modern TV productions. Netflix, Disney, Warner Bros, Amazon, VUDU and now Apple have all chosen Dolby as their format of choice. With a recent price drop of Dolby Vision Mastering license, it has never been a better moment to add Dolby Vision Mastering your list of post-production services.

This one-day class will prepare you for the job of delivering Dolby Vision shows for Disney, Warner Bros, Amazon, VUDU, Apple or any other channel.
The training program is going to cover both 2.9 and version 4.0 of Dolby Vision from accepted Monitoring, Calibration and Grading System Setup, to best practices for trim-passes and common meta-data issues and how to fix them.

This course is aimed at colorists who work at facilities that need to expand their service offering or freelance colorist willing to take advantage of job opportunities that are opening in this area. For this class, we will be using Davinci Resolve but colorists working on Baselight, Nucoda or Mistika will also benefit from it as controls are identical across all platforms.
